Although CBI Security started in Utah, our business has grown to include an operation in Phoenix, Arizona that also functions as a fully comprehensive security agency. We don’t just want to be a regular security contractor. We want to be specialists in every aspect of our field so that we can help businesses and individuals protect their property and have peace of mind.

STARTING UP IN ARIZONA

Over a decade ago, back in April of 1994, we humbly began as a Confidential Background Investigations company. At that time, we only provided background services for offices and clientele around Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. Not soon into our journey, our business rapidly grew, and less than a year later, we established ourselves as a full-service security operation. We realized that the services we provided to the great people of Utah could be used elsewhere around the country. That’s precisely why in 2006 we opened a new operation in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. 

Although each of our CBI Security locations operates solely in its own region, both our original office and Arizona operation contribute to the foundation of excellence that we have come to expect from our company. Because of our expansion to Arizona, CBI Security is on its way to becoming one of the premier security agencies in the southwest region of the United States.

  • Mobile Patrols – CBI currently has the largest mobile patrol time in Utah, and we aim to be the largest in Arizona as well. Our patrol division is a cost-effective option for securing your neighborhood, construction site, or office building. Day or night, 7 days a week, our team can patrol according to your needs. Whether you need round the clock patrolling or an 8-hour nighttime mobile patrol officer, we’ll be there when you need us and never charge you when you don’t

  • Court services – Providing additional court security was one of the first services we offered at CBI. We continue to provide it by offering additional security support for all court services
  • Prisoner transport – Our level-headed officers make sure that persons are kept safe and secure from departure to arrival
