Prepared for Different situational needs

CBI Security offers both armed and unarmed personnel services, based on your specific needs. Using our security officers at your business, event, or to protect an asset will provide you and your colleagues, employees, or attendees with peace of mind and a sense of security. It’s important to know that not all of our officers will be deployed in the field with a firearm. Armed officers are most often used when the risks in the field are higher or the protected assets are of a higher value. Unarmed officers are used when the risk is low and a patrol or crowd control is required.

UNARMED OFFICERS WORK TO PREVENT CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

We have found that in most circumstances an unarmed officer is enough of a deterrent to prevent criminal activity, to control any mischief, and to keep assets safe and protected. Our unarmed officers can provide you with a variety of services, including being able to control access to events and buildings in areas with low crime, prevent any gatecrashers, as well as patrol and manage events to assure the safety of attendees. However, there are definitely situations that will call for our officers to be armed. We will be able to help you decide if your needs require an armed or unarmed officer.

Armed officers work to deter any risks

Before employing the use of armed officers, we take the time to examine the value of the assets and property we are being asked to protect. We also like to properly assess the potential threat level that these valuables are exposed to so that we are able to ensure that it is in our client's best interest to employ the use of our armed personnel. Every armed officer goes through special and rigorous training. As stated above, all of our armed officers receive special and rigorous training, specifically in protocols that reflect the seriousness of having and using a firearm in the field. They understand the seriousness of their work and are prepared for any situation they may face as an armed security officer. Every armed officer is chosen to participate in our program because they possess the right temperament. CBI Security’s armed officers must be calm in any situation. They must also know how to de-escalate and properly diffuse a situation in a peaceful manner. Although we may deploy armed officers, our expectation is that these trained individuals will deter potentially violent situations and that they will never need to use lethal force. Our armed officers can provide a variety of services. Our services include securely transporting or protecting valuable property, providing protection for a person(s), or providing security at VIP events.
