CBI Training Academy

CBI Security’s training academy was put in place to make sure that each of our officers was well equipped to tackle each situation that might come their way and hone their problem-solving skills to adapt to situations that might have been previously unforeseen. Our academy provides training to each and every CBI officer, as well as to other proprietary security and contract security companies.

CERTIFIED PROPRIETARY TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

Currently, CBI Security is one of the very few contractors in the country that employs its own certified proprietary training instructor. This allows us to make sure that all of our officers receive the training from the same qualified security expert. Because of this standardization, we are able to almost guarantee that each of our officers will handle solutions in the same way and that stringent guidelines will be upheld.

EXCEPTIONAL TRAINING

Exceptional training leads to greater response solutions. Our belief is that it is better to spend more time in training to ensure that an officer is well equipped to handle the problems that occur in the field, rather than risk an accident or security fault that puts our clients at risk. In our experience, exceptional training is an investment that absolutely leads to better response solutions and enables our officers to better fulfill the needs of our clients. This is especially true when it comes to emergency situations, and it is the exact reason that we keep all of our officers well prepared with our training academy.

IN-DEPTH REQUIREMENTS

Aside from the creation of our proprietary comprehensive training academy, the best example of how CBI Security is committed to properly training each and every officer, thoroughly, is best evidenced by our company’s stringent requirements for each officer. First of all, each CBI Security officer is required by us to complete 24 hours of basic initial training. But it doesn’t stop here. On top of their initial training, each officer must complete 80 hours of ongoing training, each year. This keeps our officers fresh on our expectations, and also keeps them up to date on the latest security procedures that must be followed.
