Training Philosophy

A typical security guard stands at attention. At CBI Security, we live and die by the efforts and image presented by our officers. For this reason, all of our personnel undergo specialized training to help them in a variety of situations. For their training, we seek to instill the utmost excellence and desire for proficiency in all of our officers. All of this starts with a training philosophy that helps each member of our team understand and exemplify the standards they are being held to.

Two-fold training strategy

Our training philosophy begins with a training strategy that is two-fold. Every aspect of our program is developed with the understanding that each of these two routes of training must be attended to. Here are the different factors of our binary training program…

Comprehensive education: First of all, each of our officers needs to undergo an initial, comprehensive training program that helps ensure that each officer is knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of their job. This helps us know that every officer will have the understanding of how to handle situations that arise when they are on the job.

Areas of improvement: After an officer has been trained in how to best conduct the duties of their job, it doesn’t mean that their training has come to an end. The second and most important part of our training philosophy is that we are never truly done learning. Our training program is structured so that areas of improvement are identified in each of our officers and worked on. This means that each officer, while already trained to aspire to a level of excellence, is continuously working to surpass that. It is because of this philosophy that we are able to promise the best out of our personnel, no matter the job.

Corrective actions

All of our officers are expected to follow protocols and maintain a level of excellence as they carry out their duties. Failure to do this will result in corrective actions that will bring the employee up to the desired standard that we want to see from them. Each day, we strive to provide continual education, training, and testing for all of our employees.
